Located in County Mayo, Ashford Castle is one of Ireland’s most famous and historic five-star hotels, set on the shores of Lough Corrib. With over 800 years of history and a reputation for warm hospitality and outstanding cuisine, Ashford Castle offers a wide range of dining experiences—from fine dining in the George V Dining Room to more relaxed settings such as Cullens at the Cottage and the intimate Dungeon Bistro.

A leader in sustainability, Ashford Castle was the first hotel in Ireland to earn the prestigious GREENMark Plastic Smart Standard Award. Since joining Green Hospitality Ireland in 2010, the castle has consistently upheld its environmental commitments and continues to maintain Gold Standard status.

In support of these values, the team partnered with CIA, recognising their expertise in supplying and installing SMARTer™ energy-efficient catering equipment. CIA recently upgraded the castle’s kitchen with Palux high-performance cooking systems, delivering enhanced efficiency, flexibility, and durability across all kitchen operations.
